CanU: Mentoring Young Leaders to See Possibilities and Seize Opportunities.
CanU promotes positive perspectives and provides opportunities; it is the University of CAN. CanU is an innovative and mutually beneficial mentoring, educational enrichment and leadership development program for Manitoba children and post-secondary students. CanU kids show great promise and have demonstrated yet untapped potential to excel academically and in community leadership. The post-secondary student volunteers are carefully selected and receive opportunities to grow personally and professionally, honing their leadership and community service skills.
CanU runs over 70 programs year-round on multiple post-secondary campuses and in various communities. CanU is also currently partners with 60 schools, over 100 children and youth opportunities and over 1000 post-secondary and partner volunteers.
