Tutoring Network
We launched the Tutoring Network in 2020, with the Support of Frontier College. The mission of the Tutoring Network is to connect CanU participants with tutors to receive individualised academic assistance and mentorship to help them thrive in any academic setting. The Tutoring Network offers a welcoming environment to CanU participants of all ages, learning levels, and styles. With support and training from Frontier College, we train our tutors to be proficient and enthusiastic teachers with the skills and knowledge to support CanU participants. Frontier College is a national charitable literacy organisation established in 1899. They believe literacy is a right, and we operate under the guiding principle that every place is a learning place. Their mission is to provide literacy support to programs like CanU, that provide opportunities and environments for their students to grow and learn, at any pace.
